Susan and I flew to Colorado to spend Easter weekend with our favorite nephew. We spent the day at Allen and Jocelyn's house, teaching Sawyer how to dye eggs, which he totally loved!
While we were doing the eggs, Mom was busy making sugar cookies for us to decorate.
Sawyer got into icing and decorating the cookies, but didn't quite understand how to pose with the finished results!
We also brought him a really cute book called Tickle Monster that's about a monster from the planet Tickle, who tickles little children.
The book comes with fingerless furry gloves that the reader puts on their hands so they can tickle the child. Sawyer was totally delighted by the book and we loved making him giggle!
On Easter morning, he had a ball doing an egg hunt. I couldn't get any great pictures of him because he was moving throughout the house so fast, but once he discovered the chocolate animal crackers inside the eggs, he was a happy camper!
As an after Easter dinner treat, Sawyer hopped on Mom's rocking horse, wearing Dad's cowboy hat. Love this picture!
