A Capitol 4th Weekend

Another July 4th, another day with friends and fireworks viewing from the Capitol steps....something that never gets old!

Susan and I joined Amalia, Gordon and Eleanor at Rio for an al fresco lunch. The little one is so cute!
 

This is one of the best perks of living in Washington, D.C. - and a perk of having friends work on Capitol Hill. Thanks to Trish Kent, I've had the privilege of celebrating the 4th with the best view in town. It simply cannot be beat!

 Another fun holiday weekend treat was seeing my friend Cydney Dixon and her two adorable daughters, Savannah and Halle. These girls are the best!
