Another year closer to 40.
This year, Julianna and I were together and able to celebrate our birthdays with Cody, Louie, Amber, Susan, Chappy, Lindsay, Caroline, Trish, Kristen and Elizabeth. The girls gave me a Kindle for a birthday gift, which I think I'll love, particularly given all the flights I'm jumping on and off these days!
I'm having a hard time believing that I'm 38 - lots of "when did that happen?" moments - but I have a terrific circle of friends, a great job and a wonderful family. A girl really couldn't ask for more! Well, except a husband. And kids. And a home. And a healthy retirement fund. Damn. Perhaps it's best if I just focus on the terrific circle of friends, great job and wonderful family!
